I don’t know about you, but for me… the best time to be at the beach is at night. When the visitors have disappeared for their tea..
the curlews are calling from the rushes and the terns bomb the water in dramatic displays of fish catching agility.
The light is fading and a faint crescent moon is in the sky..
you get your eye in… focus and there, laid out like magic on the wet sandy sea line is treasure.
We live near the Jurassic coast in Dorset UK and spend many hours combing the beaches and cliffs.
This necklace was born from such a trip when Al found the most perfect ammonite hidden among the pebbles and we decided to sand cast in in silver …
Flotsam and Jetsam.
This necklace is solid sterling silver. The ammonite is 15mm x 12mm and had a little silver star on the back.
There are three stars in the chain along with a little silver feather.
The total chain length is 17” but please let us know if you would like a different size ( and which style of clasp you’d like ) in the helpful box at checkout. ✨
