These little broomsticks are named ‘Isobel’ after Isobel Gowdie from Nairnshire. Possibly one of the most well known Scottish accused ‘witches’.

Isobel is one of the thousands of people, mostly women murdered as witches in Scotland and around the world in the Middle Ages. Often, little is know about their personal histories and their needless deaths have been turned into folklore and clumsy stereotypes of witches with green skin and pointy hats.

We honour these women with our little solid silver flowery broomsticks.

The Broomsticks are 35mm long each with a little silver star charm.
