Octopus bracelet - Hector
This is Hector, named after the legendary pirate and ships captain Hector Barbossa .
True to his name Hector loves a good shipwreck or a lost sailor or two and reeeeallly loves sneaking up on submarines and swimming at speed towards their periscope with his arms flailing everywhere to scare them like in the movies with the giant octopi .
Hector also loves knitting.
He loves nothing more than snuggling up in a hole with a ball of wool on a comfy seaweed beanbag (yes, they exist but usually quite difficult to sit on as you tend to slide off them, bit slippery! ) and knitting socks and jumpers (I’m sure you can imagine how hard it must be to find 8 matching socks or a sweater with 8 arms !!!).
Hector is made of solid sterling silver (not hollow). He is 33mm from his top tentacle to his bottom one. His body is 10mm wide and his legs curl around your arm to hang on !
This bracelet is a ‘torque’ style cuff with a gap underneath for easy adjustment so he fits perfectly and will be your friend for life!
Hector is assayed at the London Assay Office.
